    Did you know?

Trosky ruin was a volcano 16 million years ago. Each top erupted once, Panna is slightly younger than Baba. At first a massive cone was formed from the erupted stone and then the chimney was filled with basalt melt. Two types of rock are noticeable at the foot of Panna and in the masonry. The cone residues have brown colour and contain pieces of sandstone placed in the top subsoil. Basalt (olivine nephelinite) is black and grey with locally developed columnar parting.
